Our generation...we're gonna be the coolest adults.
If you think about it, were really the power generation.
We grew up in a time when major electronic advances were the norm. We grew with the technology, and when you think about it, that's better than kids now, the ones born WITH technology.
We were raised astonished with the next new thing, we were raised to appreciate what we got, but also to make ourselves happy with what we didn't. When we were kids, we were sent outside when we were bored, not in front of the newest version of the IPad.
We were born into a time when God was still the basis of every moral value; still the God of America. No wars, no big ones when we were babies.
We've gone through the first African American President, we were here when the twin towers went down, we caught terrorists and saw them through, and we've been through at least 7 gigantic natural disasters.
We were alive when NASA was still landing on the moon.
We crossed into a new millennium.
Guys, we grew up with good kid TV, and quality television shows.
We grew up reading Harry Potter, and the Hunger Games, the Box Car Children and the Magic Treehouse.
We grew up on the musical stylings of the Jonas Brothers, and Phineas and Ferb and the Cheetah Girls and High School Musical and the Wiggles.
We are teenagers in a time where everyone knows Bieber, 1D, Nicki and Taylor...
But also where everyone knows Fun, and Goteye, and Imagine Dragons and the Script (well most people).
We grew up in a dynamic, liberal stage of America.
We were bread to be leaders.
We already outlived the end of the world 3 times...
We're going to lead the nation one day, and when that day comes...
We're gonna (pardon my language) kick ass.
